Difference between the 2024 and 2023 model of the BMW 5 Series
The BMW 5 Series 2024 comes with a new platform which include an almost completely flat underbody, resulting in a low drag coefficient of 0.23. Compared to its predecessor, the G60 is 97 mm longer, 33 mm wider and 36 mm taller, while its wheelbase has been extended by 20 mm. Also included is a double-wishbone front suspension on coil springs and multilink rear suspension on air springs, as well as a torque vectoring system known as near-actuator wheel slip limitation. Four-wheel steering (Integral Active Steering) that turns the rear-wheels by up to 2.5 degrees is optional as are active anti-roll bars and adaptive dampers.
